Breakfast was self service and very good. Thank you. The room was lovely, clean, warm and comfortable. The hotel provided everything that we needed. My son and I enjoyed a swim in the pool. I am very thankful that the hotel accommodated my request for a ground floor room as my son and I have a disability. Thank you so very much. The biggest THANK YOU has to go to all the staff who work in this hotel. What a lovely, friendly and very hard working team. Over the years I have stayed in many lovely places, including other Holiday Inns. This Holiday Inn outshines them all for its amazing staff team! What a warm welcome we received and every member of staff, from reception to dining, bar and housekeeping, every single member of staff were amazing! Going out of their way to help us enjoy our stay and see that we had everything that we needed. Thank you all so very much. The location is fantastic—conveniently close to the motorway yet surprisingly peaceful, making it an excellent base for exploring the area or just relaxing after a long drive. Whether you're traveling for leisure or business, the accessibility and serene surroundings make this hotel an ideal choice. The rooms were impressively spacious and perfectly suited for families. It's one of the few places we’ve stayed where a family with small children can comfortably spread out and enjoy a relaxing stay. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the room was well-stocked with plenty of towels and bed linen, which made everything so convenient. What stood out most was how thoughtfully the room was set up for families. There was enough space for our kids to play without feeling cramped, and the overall cleanliness and attention to detail left us truly impressed. We also appreciated how close the hotel is to local attractions and amenities. Being near the motorway was a huge plus, as it allowed us to get where we needed to go quickly while still enjoying the quiet retreat the hotel offered. Overall, this hotel is great for families looking for comfort, convenience, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and will definitely recommend it to friends and family!

This was a perfect family stay, hotel was so geared up towards children! Didn't know but has a small playroom for the kids with so many games TV football table and in main dinner area also a separate smaller children's corner. Free access to pool steam sauna until 8pm on weekends. Vik ( very important kids) goodie bags were given out on check in and token for free sweets/ toy from the bar were Inc too. We had pointed out was daughter birthday and they made a huge fuzz, decorated the table, Inc a birthday card! And balloons. Was those little extra touches which was amazing, not to forget kids eat free!!! So we saved bout £40 on evening meals which also were really yummy from onsite pub. Breakfast was nice everything you could of wanted, kids table with pancakes, waffles, cereal etc and plenty hot fried bits, topping for cereal.. really good spread.. overall great stay, brilliant location we were visiting meadowhall and few other local things.

Great location, we came up for swimming competition at Ponds Forge, hotel really easy to find from motorway and very simple run in to Ponds Forge. Staff were the friendliest of any hotel we’ve stayed in. Friendly, helpful, kind. Breakfast was fantastic, we got full breakfast but if staying g again might just get co to mental as this covers everything apart from cooked breakfast. Lots of fresh fruit/melon/dried fruit, cheese, meats, breads, pastries etc

The staff were fabulous, nothing was too much trouble and they were happy to help and give us things to help our stay. Like milk for my daughter at bed time. The food was fantastic, especially as a family with kids eating free. What a help. The swimming pool was great, especially the toddler area where they were safe as it was shallow. My youngest daughter has a progressive mitochondrial disease and I really appreciated the memories and easy fun we had here. Thank you
